Structural insulated panels (SIPs) are perfectly suited for roof constructions, whether they are new builds, extensions or replacement roofs.  They are pre-cut, with insulation already fitted, they span from wall to ridge beam usually without any further support. They can be used as the roof structure itself or used to insulate other roof structures. SIP roof panels are very versatile and suit most roof configurations, (gable to gable, hipped, mansard) and can save you time and money while providing high levels of insulation.

These types of panels are simply amazing, and easy to install. I help out two of my friends install these on their houses. They are very easy to work with and they install quickly. When I have to redo my roof I might think about putting these panels on my own home.

Our company has actually had a few new roof installs that used these types of panels. They are so easy to work with and the installation process is a breeze once you get going.

I've worked a few jobs with these types of panels. It's really not that bad working with them, and the job goes pretty quick. I wish all my jobs were that easy.

I agree. I have worked a few jobs installing this and it goes up pretty quickly. I hope I get some more jobs like this in the future.

Leo, I know what you mean. If every job was this easy, then everyone would want to be a roofer.

Here are some more great SIP installs. These installs use Bondor panels, which seem to be pretty good.

Here is a pretty good time lapse video of the roof being installed. It really could have used some editing though.

These are actually insulated metal roofing SIPs. These can be used for a variety of installs.

It looks like they also make concrete SIPs for roofs as well.

Anything that makes my job easier, I'm ok with. I don't see why anyone would dislike sips. I have worked with them in the past and they are pretty straightforward.

These are amazing to work with. The install is usually a breeze. I've worked on a few projects in the past with them and didn't have any problems.
