Green roofs, considered to be an Eco alternative to traditional roof materials such as metal, tile, wood, fiberglass or asphalt are gaining more and more ground in the world. Besides their outstanding appearance, grass roofs have many benefits. One of these benefits is good insulation of your home, which makes heating and cooling expenses decline significantly. With a grass roof your home is integrated in the environment.

Wow, this was a great video, I didn't even know about living walls, so this was very informative to me. I was thinking of starting something on the side like this, and now that I've seen other alternatives, I'm really going to have to start thinking about this.

These are actually some really good ideas for turning your roof into a green roof. I wonder how much some of these designs cost.

I am sold on the idea of green roofs and even rooftop gardens. This video gives you a lot of ideas and options for both. I think more people should think about this when deciding to put on a new roof.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video jroll. I'm not sure of the exact cost, but I'm sure it's not cheap.

I think it's great if you are going to live in the house for the next twenty years, then you get a good ROI.
