This is for those of you that may have had a fear of heights in the beginning.  How did you overcome your fear?  Do you ever have bouts with it now?

It was never really a problem for me.  I think it’s natural for everyone to have a little fear of heights.  But, it never kept me off of a roof.  I’ve always felt comfortable as long as I’m aware of my surroundings.

I’m not going to lie.  It bothered me at first.  I’d look down and freak out.  I got used to it over time.  It’s just part of the job.  Though, it’s good to have a little fear in you.  It’s when you feel too relaxed accidents happen.

I’ve seen a few guys at work seem way too comfortable on a roof.  I always give them your advice.  You know what that is. Not to fall off the roof!  I’m surprised sometimes just how comfortable some people are.  Almost dangerously so.
