Has anyone used spray on elastomeric roof coatings on a EPDM roof? What are the pros and cons? What are the best products to use? Is there a better alternative other than tear off and start over?

The better alternative is to find someone else to do it.  I usually like to play foreman while I teach the new guys how to do stuff.  That way they can learn a valuable lesson.  That lesson is not to listen to old lazy guys.

Some of the pros are that it offers the lowest life cycle cost, can withstands temperatures as low as -45 C, improves building energy efficiency through superior reflective properties, and provides about 30 years of low maintenance, leak free performance.

Most elastomeric roof coatings have a light or even white tone so they reflect sunlight rather than absorb it. It will improve a building's energy efficiency by cutting down on solar gain. So you can put that in the pro column.

Among different types of roof coatings, elastomeric roof coatings are very versatile and can be applied to various types of roofing systems such as single-ply, metal, asphalt, polyurethane foam or concrete roofs (CSPE, EPDM, TPO, PVC). Elastomeric roof coating creates a seamless uniform membrane that remains flexible even at low temperatures. In addition, its adhesive nature provides excellent UV protection for polyurethane foam. Elastomeric coatings can be employed both in construction phase and as well as in the maintenance phase. For further information reach out to EPDM Coatings https://www.epdmcoatings.com/index.php
